CardSwap DEX Liquidity Mining & Tutorial

Stake LP on CardStarter to Earn $CSWAP tokens

What is Liquidity Mining?

Liquidity Mining is a program to earn CSWAP rewards in return for staking the liquidity you provide to the CardStarter pools (Token+ETH= LP). Liquidity providers will receive special tokens known as Liquidity Pool tokens (LP) unique to the Token+ETH; this token is a representation of your share of the respective liquidity pool (currently: CARDS-ETH, C3-ETH, GERO-ETH).

Why is staking an LP token important to the CARDS ecosystem?

CardSwap is an automated market maker allowing users to swap effortlessly between different assets on the Cardano blockchain, using the underlying liquidity provided by the users. The depth of liquidity is important to the efficiency of market making and will be a critical metric for the effective functionality of CardSwap. Cards-LP along with the incubator LPs will be automatically migrated to CardSwap pools upon launch and will be immediately eligible for CSWAP liquidity mining.

What are CSWAP tokens?

$CSWAP tokens imbue holders with voting privileges on proposals governing the CardSwap platform. As a reward for governing the platform and being responsible for its parameters, CSWAP holders are rewarded with additional benefits such as a share in the platform fee.

With consideration that all CardStarter incubated projects will be the first ones to auto-migrate to CardSwap and form its initial liquidity base, we have decided to distribute this governance power to those who contribute to providing liquidity that is essential to a successful CardSwap launch. CSWAP tokens will be seeded with initial liquidity at CardSwap launch at a starting price of $0.01.

The CardStarter is very excited about this highly anticipated LP staking program that will be both attractive to stakers and beneficial to the liquidity pools.
